Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple

World’s richest God is Trivandrum’s Sree PadmanabhaswamyTemple with more than 1 lakh crore rupees of worth treasures. This hidden secret was a latest reveal. This temple was the core of world’s attention recently. It is located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of the State of Kerala, India. The deity is Lord Vishnu who is leaning on a serpent.
It is one among the 108 sacred Vishnu temples. These 108 shrines of Lord Vishnu are also called as Divya Desams. The Divya Desams are the Vishnu’s holy shrines were Mangalasasanam were done by the Saints-poets. (FYI: Mangalasasanam : reciting prayers to ensure that the holy shrines are happy all the time).

The trustee and the committee members appointed to bring open the hidden treasures were able to open all the chambers in the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, but not one. It is the Seventh door. The entire world is eager to know what is hidden behind the Seventh door of the Sree temple. It is considered by the trustees and highly expert astrologers that this chamber has to unlock itself when a secret chant is spelled. Also it is highly risky, dangerous and scary to unveil it. Because, the steel door of this chamber has two big Cobra portraits on it and doesn’t have any bolt, nuts or latches to open it.
Since the familiarity of this temple has spread widely due to all the above said facts, there are more number of people visiting this temple in recent times. The dress code for women to enter this temple was only sarees, mundu and neriyathu.
However, the recent news is that this temple has permitted women devotees to wear salwar kameez and chudidhar to whorship at the temple. However the other outfits like jeans, tights are not allowed.
This relaxation on the dress code has made the Keralites and especially women from all over the country and outside the country happier. Even though in olden days, women had to enter the temple only with sarees, mundu, neriyathu etc. Amending these customs a little but with decent and dignified dressing brings happiness into the faces of women.
